Innovative bio-granulate
Our raw material, bio-granules, is based on a modified, purely physical, potato or corn starch (no chemical modification, as in competing bio-raw materials, including starch ones). The products obtained from it (cutlery, packaging, foil) are 100% biodegradable and compostable, which has been confirmed in research.
Bio-granulate undergoes 100% real bio-degradation after 12 weeks (84 days), and as the proportion of starch in its composition increases, this time is reduced. In addition, products made only of starch bio-granules are fully biodegradable in fresh and salt water as well as in soil and compostable in home composters, and their mechanical strength does not differ from standard plastics such as LDPE or PP.
